WHAT IS MEOWDOKU?
Meowdoku is a relaxing logic puzzle game where you place cute cats on a colorful grid. Every puzzle has only one correct solution, so you need to think carefully instead of guessing.
The rules are simple, but each level becomes more challenging as the board gets more complex. If you enjoy Sudoku-style puzzles or games that test your logic, Meowdoku is an enjoyable way to train your brain.
GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
Each level shows a square grid divided into several colored regions.
Your job is to place cats on the board while following four simple rules:
- Each colored region can contain only one cat.
- Each row can contain only one cat.
- Each column can contain only one cat.
- Cats cannot touch each other, even diagonally.
At first, many spaces look possible. As you examine the rows, columns and regions, you'll quickly discover that some cells cannot contain a cat. Removing these impossible choices helps you find the correct position little by little until the entire puzzle is solved.
There is no timer and no random guessing. Every level can be completed by using logic.
How to Play Meowdoku
When you start a puzzle, don't rush to place cats immediately.
- Instead, look across the board and find rows, columns or colored regions that already have very few possible spaces.
- Next, rule out cells that break one of the four puzzle rules. Every time you place a cat, more spaces become unavailable because cats cannot touch each other. This creates new clues that make the next move easier.
- Keep repeating this process until every row, every column and every colored region contains exactly one cat.
- If you ever feel stuck, take another look at the whole board. The answer is always there-you just need to spot the clue you missed.
